**Position Summary**:
The Fitness Manager is responsible for the overall success of personal training operations. Empowered by the company to be an “entrepreneur”, the Fitness Manager will take pride in the success of their club, running it as a business within a business and earn industry leading income while being part of a great team

**Responsibilities**:
Operations Management

Prepare weekly schedules and work assignments for Personal Trainers.

Ensure that the members are given high quality services and assistance when needed.

Assist in developing and maintaining workout programs.

Stay abreast on latest updates in fitness industry.

Ensure gym facility is maintained, clean, safe, and orderly.

Ensure that gym equipment is kept in good condition.

Monitor the initial workouts of new members and provide feedback.

Monitor and control expenses within allotted budget.

Offer various fitness programs to suit members’ specific needs.

Ensure that all staff follow center’s procedures and policies.

Enhance revenue by providing additional discounts and services to existing and new members.

Supervise day-to-day operations of personal training sessions.

Organization educational training, seminars, and meetings for personal training staff for professional growth.

Resolve issues and complaints pertaining to personal training from members.

Implement member suggestions and recommendations to optimize training program.

Schedule and conduct gym tours to new members.

Maintain all paperwork regarding personal training schedules and procedures.

People and Resource Management

Recruit and train Personal Trainers in their respective job duties.

Provide performance, leadership, coaching and mentoring to staff related to best practice, professional conduct, contribution to the Ayrfit vision, relationship management and stakeholder engagement.

Oversee and facilitate performance management and ensure all team members understand their key accountabilities and perform to the expected level.

Provide leadership in development of team communication and cohesiveness.

**Qualifications**:
Current Personal Training Certification plus five years of customer service experience

Current CPR Certification

Experience working in a sale’s driven environment

Proven success in achieving monthly KPI’s and quotas

Ability to drive a high-performance sales team

Demonstrate leadership and people management skills

Ambitious, results-driven and a team player

Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity

Demonstrate a high level of ser ice delivery; do what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction; deal with service failures and prioritize customer needs.
