**Children's Multi-Sport Coach**

Sportball invites energetic, enthusiastic, sports-oriented people to join our coaching team.

Our Part-Time Coaches lead classes on both weekdays (late afternoon/early evening) and weekends (morning/early afternoon). The timing and number of shifts will be balanced between programming needs and coaches' schedules.

We are hiring for the Fall season and those looking to coach year round. All fall, winter and spring programs are held indoors, while summer programs are held outdoors.

**Note - While we are hiring for fall, we may be able to offer some summer shifts for individuals looking to start in August.**

High school, post-secondary students and those already in the workforce with a passion for coaching are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have participated in sports and should have a passion for working with children.

Previous coaching experience is also an asset but not a must.

Sportball is a non-competitive sports instruction program that introduces children between 16 months and 10 years to the skills associated with eight different sports (soccer, hockey, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis and golf).

All coaches are provided with comprehensive initial training as well as ongoing training and support in Sportball methodology and program delivery.
- Must have experience in sports as a participant and/or coach
- **Transportation is required**:

- Standard First Aid CPR C required (prior to start)
- Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening required (prior to start)
- Coaches will work in multiple locations in the Niagara Region (may include St. Catharines, Grimsby, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Welland, Pelham, Niagara Falls, West Lincoln or other communities)
- Shifts are weekend mornings/early afternoons and weekday early afternoons/evenings

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.25 - 18.00 per hour
