We are looking for individuals to work as **Cook/Dietary Aide **to prepare and serve food to residents in assisted living in our facility. The goal is to provide excellent food service to our residents with a customer-oriented approach.

As a Cook/Dietary Aide you must be capable to prepare and serve food and drinks following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. You must be competent, demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and standards. You must be polite, considerate, and companionate towards residents.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook food items ensuring the highest quality service and experience for customers.
- Help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently.
- Ensure proper food handling, and sanitation.
- Set up tables in dining area with attention to cleanliness and following resident’s dietary needs.
- Prepare and deliver food/drinks using proper food handling and good sanitary conditions under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
- Prepare carts to deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
- Clear dining areas, collect plates, glasses, wash dishes, and silverware.
- Clean food stations and stock ingredients.

**Requirements**:

- Able to follow instructions.
- Friendly with good communication skills.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Able to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Safe Food Handler’s Certificate (provided by the health unit without charge).

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $22.03-$24.99 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
