_**Warehouse Associate**_

At FGI Canada, your work will support an industry-wide reputable organization. FGI Canada focuses on the following product categories: sanitaryware (primarily toilets, sinks, pedestals, and toilet seats), bath furniture (vanities, mirrors, and cabinets), shower systems, custom kitchen cabinetry and other accessory items. We service to many outlets such as retail, wholesale, and commercial channels customers worldwide.
- **About the Role**_

The Warehouse Associate will perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in picking, storing, distributing, order fulfillment of materials, parts and supplies. The associate will occasionally prepare and maintain records of items shipped. Required to operate warehouse machinery and lift items. In addition to being a backup shipper as secondary duties (based on business needs).
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Load trucks following BOL instructions / unload trucks verifying the right product is being offloaded
- Picking orders accurately following order instructions prioritizing by ship dates
- Labeling and providing shipment details on paperwork for shipping
- Checks goods received against work orders, packing slips and verify quantities (zero discrepancies)
- Cycle counts /Replenishments, verifying bin locations to match our internal inventory system
- Shipping functions (checking, registering, labeling, and arranging orders with carriers)
- Perform housekeeping duties as required while contributing to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Adheres to all Safety policies and recommendations
- Must work well with mínimal supervision in a team-based environment
- Experience and ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks or applicable equipment utilized in the workplace
- **You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualification and skills sets**:_
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in Distribution and/or Warehouse experience preferred
- Freight knowledge (an asset)
- Good verbal communication skills in English required
- Ability to read pertinent information in English found on computer, parcels, pick tickets or shipping labels
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to walk/stand all day and bend, lift and push
- Ability to work at height within our multi-level warehouse aisles
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Basic to Moderate level in Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexible, adaptable with the ability to prioritize work
- 1+ year of reach forklift experience
- Experience with SAP systems preferred
