Fencing Technician/equipment Operator

What you will be doing:
- Installation, removal, and repairs on a wide variety of fences and gates. These include but are not limited to livestock, residential, and commercial fences.
- Loading and unloading of equipment, supplies, and tools
- Operating equipment such as large truck/trailer, skid steer, tractor, chainsaws, power tools, etc.
What we are looking for:
- Punctuality, consistency, and reliability
- Problem solving skills, adaptability, and attention to detail are crucial when partaking in various projects
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment through communication and pro-active thinking
- Willingness to learn, good attitude, take initiative, and gain experience on various pieces of equipment and tasks.
Nice to haves:
- Fencing or construction experience, operating equipment, mechanical knowledge.
- Safety training current valid tickets: CSTS-20, Std First Aid & AED, CPR, H2S Alive, Global Ground Disturbance level 2, TDG, Chainsaw Safety Awareness
Must haves:
- Valid drivers license and vehicle for transport to Prairie Fence headquarters (52221 Range Road 24 Parkland County): no public transportation available
- English fluency
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Willingness to work out of town on occasion
What you get:
- Full time hours Monday to Friday (7am start), overtime, some Saturdays as needed
- $20-$35/hr depending on qualifications and experience
- Overtime is time x 1.5
- Wage increases and bonuses are performance based

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 - 59 per week
