**JOB PROFILE - Prep Cook**

**TERM**: Full Time Permanent

**COMPENSATION**: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

**Responsibilities and Expectations**
- Food prep (sauces, vegetables, fruits, etc)
- Food ordering
- Inventory
- Maintain a sanitary and clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management
- Strong worth ethic and ability to work with team members in a fast-paced work environment
- Accuracy and speed in performing duties
- Understand proper food handling and food safety standards
- Maintains friendly, fast, and accurate service ensures an unsurpassed guest experience and ensures all food items are consistent with company standards.
- Ensures the restaurant is up to company standards regarding cleanliness, neatness, and guest accessibility. Works as a team player to support other employees in completing their tasks.
- Completes all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Qualifications/Assets**
- Food Safe certificate required
- Previous kitchen experience, an asset
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull up to 11.5 kilograms (25 pounds) without assistance
- Must be self-motivated and possess a high level of energy
- Must have strong organizational skills and display high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a passion for food and a willingness to learn
- Ability to be an effective member of a team
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
