**About the Opportunity**:
Under the supervision of the Health Service Manager or delegate, Charge Nurse, Nursing or Providers, the Clerk B performs clerical, receptionist and stocking duties for the medicine unit, on the weekends. This position includes being a central information and support hub for the unit and team, answering calls, answering call bells, faxing of correspondence, restocking of supplies, ordering of supplies, following up on various requests, booking transport for pts, booking appointments, assist with the admission of patients (within scope), and other duties as required, including filling sick calls as needed.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12 plus one year related experience or graduate of a recognized one year secretarial/business program required
- General office skills an asset
- Medical Terminology preferred
- Must have computer knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm during an emergency and deal with numerous interruptions and continuous change an asset
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates problem solving and decision making skills
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset

**Hours**:

- Permanent Part-Time (40%) position, 28 Hours Bi-Weekly
- Shifts include weekends only

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$22.89 - $24.89 Hourly
