**RÔLE ET CONTEXTE**: Le directeur des soins infirmiers est responsable de la planification, coordination, contrôle et évaluation de la qualité et de la sécurité des services en soins aux clients de ressources intermédiaires. RESPONSABILITÉS : Planifier, organiser, coordonner et contrôler les activités relatives à la dispensation des soins dans les unités de gérontologie, psychiatrie, répit court terme et prothétique; Gestion des ressources humaines, financières et matérielles ; Gestion des horaires des employés ; Assurer les remplacements ponctuels du personnel ; Représenter l’autorité administrative de l’entreprise ; Prendre les mesures appropriées à l’égard des situations d’urgence susceptibles de survenir dans l’établissement ; Assurer une continuité de soins et la liaison avec les différents services ; S’assurer du bien-être des résidents en respectant les normes de l’établissement ; Assurer le suivi du dossier médical et des prescriptions du résident sur demande du médecin et du pharmacien ou du CSSS ; Gérer les rendez-vous des résidents avec les divers intervenants; Faire des interventions, par exemple contrôler les signes vitaux, faire des injections et appliquer les techniques d’asepsie, y compris faire des pansements ; Agir à titre d’intermédiaire, si nécessaire, avec la famille et/ou les institutions de santé ; Former le personnel pour faire face aux urgences médicales (actes délégués); Effectuer le suivi administratif des certificats RCR et PDSB des employés ; Répondre aux cloches d’appel, ainsi qu’à toute situation d’urgence, intervenir ; S’assurer du bon fonctionnement du matériel et équipement d’urgence ; Être une personne ressource en cas d’accident de travail; Distribuer les médicaments aux résidents, au besoin ; Effectuer une toilette partielle ou complète des résidents, au besoin; Superviser les infirmiers auxiliaires et autre personnel infirmier; Effectuer les horaires et voir aux remplacements; Évaluer les patients afin d’identifier les soins infirmiers appropriés; Collaborer avec les autres membres des équipes interdisciplinaires de soins de santé afin de planifier, d’implanter, de coordonner et d’évaluer les soins aux patients en consultation avec les patients et leur famille; Administrer les médicaments et traitements prescrits par un médecin ou selon les politiques et protocoles en vigueur; Surveiller, évaluer, documenter et consigner les symptômes et les changements dans l’état des patients, et prendre les mesures nécessaires, tout en s’assurer de communiquer le tout au livre de bord et à ses collègues; Utiliser du matériel ou des appareils médicaux et/ou en surveiller l’utilisation; Toutes autres tâches connexes. EXIGENCES DU POSTE : Un diplôme d’études universitaires; Membre de l’Ordre des infirmiers, infirmières du Québec (OIIQ); Deux à cinq années d’expérience comme infirmier(ère); Une à trois années d’expérience en gestion de personnel et horaire ; Expérience de travail ou bénévolat avec les personnes âgées (atout); RCR et PDSB : un atout; Connaissance des logiciels Word et Excel.
