The role

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be accountable for the daily performance of your assigned area and responsible to contribute to the overall success of the channel. With a focus on delivering high levels of revenue, training, and operational performance, you will lead all aspects of an area, where you will train reps to deliver sales programs and drive new sales strategies in the National Retail space.

Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with our partners is conducive to the ongoing sales of Shaw/Freedom products and services to our customers, which is key to this role This role utilizes sophisticated knowledge of products and services as well as sales process experience to improve sales and optimally work the assigned region. To ensure your areas success, you’ll monitor performance metrics daily and gap manage where required.

The Territory Sales Representative will work and reside in Southern Ontario: London, Brantford, Tri Cities, and Windsor.
A typical day
Most of your days will be spent in store visiting our National Retail Partner locations, driving sales productivity and market share growth through your assigned region. You will spend time building relationships with the National Retail Store teams, attending meetings with sales reps, store managers and District Managers to drive results and build a solid foundation between Shaw/Freedom and our Partners. You will be responsible for facilitating strategy/best practice sales presentations to sales reps in a classroom settings. The remainder of your time will be spent doing a variety of tasks including gap management (understanding Territory opportunities) and weekly planning activities.
Your skills/experience
- University degree or equivalent education in a business field with minimum 3-5 years sales leadership experience
- Proven track record of working on various tasks / projects simultaneously while ensuring your team is engaged and supported
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate them into strategy for our sales teams
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, more specifically PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines
- Detail oriented individual with ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent listening skills, ability to develop successful business relationships with peers in MDU regional teams and cross functional departments
- Customer Service Orientation, Teamwork and Collaboration, Resourcefulness and Initiative
- Ability to perform with mínimal direction
