Room Checker

We are currently seeking a Room Checker for our family owned and operated Hotel.

Responsibilities and requirements include:

- Hiring position includes Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays. Must be available to work flexible hours within 7:00am to 7:00pm. Possible additional hours might be considered;
- Assignment of Room Attendants daily tasks;
- Supervision and inspection of all Room Attendants guestrooms cleaning assignments;
- Assisting Room Attendants with cleaning assignments;
- Determining operational guestroom requirements;
- Verification of guestroom room reports and guest requirements;
- Removal of linens and garbage from guestrooms;
- Reporting any repairs and deficiencies in guestrooms and public areas;
- Maintaining health and safety standards of applicable sections.

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

- Physically demanding, combination of standing for extended periods, walking, bending, pushing, crouching and kneeling;
- Repetitive tasks;
- Will be handling heavy operational equipment;
- Working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
- Fluent in the English language;
- Ability to work part of a team and individually;
- Previous experience an asset.

Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 16 - 32 per week

**Salary**: $18.45-$18.82 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
