**Quality Assurance Technician**
**Overview**:
As the Quality Manager at Dynamic Precision Inc., the Quality Assurance Technician plays a critical role in upholding our commitment to delivering precision-engineered products of the highest quality. Reporting directly to the General manager, the Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance Department, implementing quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1) Quality Control Processes:
a. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and reliability in our manufacturing processes.
b. Establish inspection criteria, testing protocols, and documentation standards for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
c. Inspect machined components as they are completed on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
d. Generate inspection reports for the clients as the need arises.
e. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
2) Supplier Quality Management:
a. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate and qualify suppliers based on their quality management systems and performance.
b. Monitor supplier performance through audits and quality metrics.
c. Work closely with suppliers to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.
3) Customer Satisfaction:
a. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and complaints, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
b. Communicate with customers to understand their quality requirements and expectations, ensuring that our products meet or exceed their specifications.
c. Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback and identify opportunities for enhancing product quality and service levels.
4) Quality Training and Development:
a. Provide training and guidance to employees at all levels on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
b. Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization, emphasizing the importance of every individual's role in maintaining quality standards.
c. Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development within the Quality Assurance team to enhance their capabilities and expertise.
5) Continuous Improvement:
a. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in quality management systems, processes, and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
b. Utilize data analysis and statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.
c. Encourage employee involvement in problem-solving and process improvement activities.
**Qualifications**:
1) Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (preferred).
2) Extensive experience in quality management roles within the manufacturing industry, with a strong background in precision machining.
3) In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality assurance methodologies.
4) Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving quality objectives.
5) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
6) Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
