**UCP- Nursing Department**

**Reporting To**: Director of Health and Wellness

**Rotating/Schedule**: Rotating Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays

**Hourly Rate**: As per Collective Agreement

**Start Date**: ASAP

Qualifications and/or Skills Required
- Completion of UCP Training.
- Experience with med e-system software
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrated empathy and understanding of the needs of the seniors
- Must be mature and possess effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, staff and visitors
- Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints
- Physically and mentally capable of performing various duties expected of this position

Primary Responsibilities
- Follow Company Policies and Procedures
- Possess a good punctuality and attendance record
- Maintain an excellent rapport with our seniors, their families and co-workers
- The ability to work shifts that are shown on the schedule, stay for extended shifts as needed
- Flexibility required to cover holidays and periods of co-worker’s illness
- Answer telephone, greet visitors, and receive routine inquiries in person and by phone, relaying calls and messages to the appropriate person
- Maintain departmental files and records, including correspondence, forms and routine office and reports
- All other duties as assigned or consistent with work routines and job descriptions.

UCP $16.09 per hour plus $0.60 UCP and shift premium

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $16.69 per hour

- 8 hour shift
