Atec Signs Inc is an industry leader in the sign business. We are involved in some of the most exciting installations around the GTA and across the country. Our Brampton manufacturing facility produces unique and complex signs and architectural elements for a variety of designers, consultants and architects. We are also a top provider of large format digital LED screens, message centres and electronic billboards, a part of the industry which continues massive growth.

We are looking for individuals that can add value to our organization through dedication and hard work, but that can also grow within our company. Previous training is an asset but Atec provides and maintains comprehensive equipment and safety training to all employees. Installing with Atec isn’t just a job, it’s a career. Positions available include lead installers and installation labourers.

Job details
- Prepare installs by reading drawings and reviewing details and required hardware
- install interior and exterior signs using various fastening methods, tools and equipment
- operate lift equipment (crane truck, scissor lift, boom lift, swing stage, etc)
- perform site check surveys for designers to determine site conditions and assist with sign builds
- work alongside with other trades and sub contractors (electricians, iron workers, concrete form workers)
- maintain tools and hardware on trucks

Lead Sign Installer - preferred qualifications:
Class A drivers license

0-80 ton crane license

Working at heights

WHMIS

Aerial platform

Swing stage

Skills and experience

3-5 years Experience in sign or related installations.

Strong power tool skills (drills, saws, etc)

Availability to work nights/weekends when required

Ability to read sign drawings and location plans.

Strong measurement and layout skills.

Strong communication skills.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
