**YOU MUST BE ALREADY LIVING IN CANADA AND WILLING TO RELOCATE TO NOVA SCOTIA. **NOT HIRING FOR REMOTE WORK.**

**Position**: 2D BG Painters

**Type**: Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract or indefinite, on site.

**Start Date**: March 2025

**Responsibilities;**:

- Utilizing the approved storyboards & Key Environments for reference, paint provided scene layouts for each scene as required. BG's to be painted in Photoshop.
- Working closely with the series Director on assigned scenes, paying close attention to perspective, staging, & key designs paint provided layouts for each scene as needed.
- Incorporation of all notes from the director while working collaboratively with other layout artists & BG Painters under a strict schedule.

**Qualifications;**
Demonstrating a commitment to delivering final painted backgrounds ready for production use.
- Experience in 2D BG Painting for television series production, with a portfolio to demonstrate the required skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Photoshop
- **Decent Knowledge of Toonboom Harmony a plus but not required.**:

- The ability to prioritize work.
- Problem solving skills
- A strong work ethic, and a self-motivated, milestone-driven individual
- Adaptability to different styles
