Peut se voir attribuer un grade ou un rang de service dans une chaîne de commandement conformément aux exigences du contrat ou pour faciliter la prestation de services, selon les besoins de l'entreprise.

FONCTIONS PRINCIPALES
- Les fonctions énumérées décrivent l'objectif commercial de cet emploi. Les fonctions ou tâches spécifiques peuvent varier et être documentées séparément. L'employé pourra ne pas être tenu d'exercer toutes les fonctions énumérées. Des tâches supplémentaires pourront être assignées et les fonctions modifiées selon les besoins de l'entreprise.
- Toutes les tâches ou fonctions assignées sont considérées comme faisant partie des fonctions essentielles, à moins que ces tâches ou fonctions ne soient pas liées aux fonctions énumérées, auquel cas elles seront considérées comme d'autres fonctions (non essentielles).
- Les employés sont tenus responsables de la bonne exécution de leurs tâches. Les normes de performance professionnelle peuvent être documentées séparément et peuvent inclure des fonctions, des objectifs, des devoirs ou des tâches qui ne sont pas spécifiquement énumérés dans le présent document.
- Dans l'exercice de leurs fonctions, devoirs ou tâches, les employés sont tenus de connaître et de suivre des pratiques de travail sécuritaires et de connaître les politiques et procédures de l'entreprise relatives à la sécurité au travail, y compris les règles et réglementations en matière de sécurité. Les employés sont tenus d'informer leurs supérieurs lorsqu'ils prennent connaissance de conditions de travail dangereuses.
- Toutes les fonctions, devoirs ou tâches doivent être effectués de manière honnête, éthique et professionnelle et doivent être réalisés en conformité avec les politiques et procédures applicables de l'entreprise. En cas de doute ou de manque de connaissance des politiques et procédures de l'entreprise, les employés sont tenus de demander des éclaircissements ou des explications à leurs supérieurs ou aux représentants autorisés de l'entreprise.

1. Inspecte l'intérieur et l'extérieur des bâtiments, des terrains et des infrastructures afin de détecter les conditions dangereuses ou les violations des normes en matière d'incendie.

2. Teste et nettoie les équipements tels que les compresseurs d'air, les extincteurs et autres dispositifs de protection contre l'incendie pour s'assurer de leur conformité aux normes de sécurité et de lutte contre l'incendie.

3. Discute des violations et des conditions dangereuses avec le représentant du site, fait des recommandations et fournit des instructions sur les pratiques de sécurité incendie.

4. Si autorisé, délivre des permis et fait respecter les normes de protection contre l'incendie du site.

5. Prépare des rapports tels que les inspections effectuées, les infractions aux normes et les recommandations pour éliminer les risques d'incendie.

6. Peut être appelé à exercer des fonctions de lutte contre l'incendie en cas d'urgence.

7. Peut former d'autres personnes aux plans d'intervention d'urgence en cas d'incendie.

8. Peut enquêter et recueillir des faits pour déterminer la cause des incendies et des explosions.

9. Peut effectuer d'autres tâches d'inspection et de sécurité selon les besoins du ou des sites.

10. Peut exercer d'autres fonctions de services de sécurité comme le permet toute licence de gardien de sécurité requise et comme spécifié pour le(s) site(s) assigné(s), en plus des fonctions d'inspecteur des incendies.

11. Effectuer des tâches et des fonctions spécifiques de nature et de portée similaires à celles requises pour le(s) site(s) assigné(s).

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES AU NIVEAU D'ENTRÉE

Des qualifications supplémentaires peuvent être spécifiées et bénéficier d'une préférence, selon la nature du poste.

NORMES MINIMALES D'EMBAUCHE
- Doit être âgé(e) d'au moins 18 ans.
- Doit disposer d'un moyen de communication fiable (p. ex. téléavertisseur ou téléphone).
- Doit disposer d'un moyen de transport fiable (public ou privé).
- Doit avoir le droit de travailler légalement au Canada.
- Doit pouvoir parler, lire et écrire l'anglais et le français dans la province de Québec.
- Doit être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études secondaires ou d'un GED. Sinon, Doit être prêt(e) à suivre le programme GED dans les six mois.
- Doit être disposé(e) à participer au processus de vérification préalable à l'emploi de la société, y compris à l'enquête sur les antécédents.

Éducation/Expérience : Diplôme d'études secondaires ou GED; expérience connexe souhaitée.
