**Job Description SILVER THREADS SERVICE**
**Receptionist - Saanich and Victoria Centres**

Silver Threads Service is seeking enthusiastic, customer service orientated individuals to help us build a warm and welcoming environment at our Centres for individuals 55 +.

The Receptionist supports the overall management of the reception desk at Silver Threads Service and centre operations. The position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to members and the general public as well as information and referral to phone and in-person inquiries.

This position works closely with the staff and volunteers and has an understanding of all programs and services offered by the organization and running in the building. Assists with room and program set ups and overall administration.

A key component is support of our Fall Reopening and membership drive with registration, data entry and facility tours.

The Receptionist would provide coverage for holidays and all shifts would be during our operating hours of 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

Paid training provided.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
