Abatement Technicians

Saskatoon Fire and Flood offers a full range of restoration, remediation and construction services. We pride ourselves in having trained and industry educated technicians who approach each job with positive work ethic, professionalism, and an incredible commitment to quality.

We are seeking individuals to join our abatement team. Saskatoon Fire and Flood is willing to train and provide required certification for asbestos work.

**Requirements**:

- A copy of your driver’s license and criminal record check are required upon hire.
- **Asbestos abatement experience** **is considered an asset.**:

- **Training to be provided, if required for applicable applicant**:

- Certification and training are encouraged (WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Arrest, etc.).
- Physically fit and can lift 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Working collaboratively with the abatement team.
- Compliance with Saskatoon Fire and Flood’s health and safety protocols.
- Individuals must have their own CSA-approved steel-toed boots. All other personal protective equipment is provided by Saskatoon Fire and Flood.
- Able to meet deadlines while working alone and in a team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saskatoon, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- restoration: 1 year (preferred)
