**Salary**: $30 - $35 per hour

Hours: 44 - 50 hours per week

- **Specific Duties**:_
- Delivering feed/feed system adjustments for 2,000 head beef feedlot
- Monitoring and maintaining animal health; processing cattle for implants & drugs as required
- Ensuring sufficient feedstocks are maintained at the farm and assist with procurement of feed as requested
- Cleaning barn, barnyard, pens & all aspects of beef production
- Managing the maintenance of equipment & buildings at the West Coast Cattle farm
- Pay loader
- Skidsteer
- Tractor - including TMR
- Weekend work every other weekend, except during harvest (additional hours as required)
- Assisting with all field work for feed crops
- Reviewing & approving employee timesheets bi-weekly for payroll preparation
- Must have a valid driver’s licence
- A-Z licence not necessary, but considered an asset
- Other duties as assigned
- **Experience**:_
- 1-5 years previous experience within a farming operation is considered an asset
- Prior use of Performance Beef Feedlot Analytics considered an asset (but not mandatory)

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
