The Team is counting on you as a Sales Associate Cashier to:

- Have open/flexible availability - early mornings, afternoons, late evenings (weekdays and weekends) and holidays
- Work a part-time schedule

Key Accountabilities:

- Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter the store or approach the cash wrap
- Responsible for managing the cash register and make sure that all Processes and Procedures regarding the handling of cash and debit/credit cards is according to Company Policies
- Provide a complete shopping experience for our customer involving product knowledge and service excellence
- Communicate pricing, out of date and inventory issues with management
- Assist in inventory processes and counts. Stock merchandise
- Inform management of any out of stock situations
- Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise on store fixtures and displays
- Understand all store Loss Prevention Procedures designed to minimize internal and external shrink.
- Report shoplifting incidents or internal theft situations to store management
- Participates and contributes in daily briefings, staff meetings.
- Follows all communication and managers direction
- Work with other employees to receive all shipments in a timely manner.
- Helps train new associates.
- Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management.
- Perform related work as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

- Ability to interact with diverse personalities
- 2 or more years of customer service/ cashier experience in a retail environment
- Proficiency in operating a cash register
- Excellent customer service skills and demonstrable experience in dealing with difficult customers
- Excellent verbal and communication and relational skills
- Flexible availability including weekends, early mornings or late evenings as required by business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
