DUTIES
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the POS system
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other beverage equipment
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including wiping down counters and tables
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns

**Skills**:

- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Food service: Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to follow proper food handling procedures
- POS (Point of Sale) system: Experience using a cash register or POS system for order entry and payment processing
- Food preparation: Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Food handling: Understanding of proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards
- Cashiering: Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Cash handling: Knowledge of cash handling procedures, including counting money, providing change, and balancing cash drawer
- Math: Basic math skills for calculating totals, providing change, and reconciling cash drawer
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and helpful attitude towards customers

**Salary**: From $16.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
