We are actively seeking to fill the regular full-time role of Building Maintenance Worker in St-Laurent, QC.
**Responsibilities**:
Working under the direction of the VP, Operations, the Building Custodian will join the team and have the following responsibilities:
- Ensures that company facilities are kept in good repair and working order
- Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment. Major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed maintenance workers
- Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building’s mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis
- Cleans, Inspects, Calibrates and repairs mechanical systems
- Replaces and repairs all light of the warehouse and the office
- Janitorial services such as cleaning of washroom and kitchen including but not limited to unclogging of sinks and toilets
- Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures
- Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required
- Assists with the renovation/remodeling of the building; repairs, plasters and drywalls; paints building structures
- Performs outside custodial duties such as landscaping and snow removal as required
- May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed
- Maintenance and repairs on fork lift equipment
- Other tasks and duties assigned from time to time by the VP Operations
**Skills & Attributes**:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Completed High School Diploma
- Fork lift license an asset
- Customer service oriented person
- Mature and Responsible person
- Language requirements: Bilingual (English & French)

**Responsabilités**:
- Sous la direction du vice-président des opérations, le gardien d'immeuble rejoindra l'équipe et aura les responsabilités suivantes:
- Veiller à ce que les installations de l'entreprise soient maintenues en bon état et en état de fonctionnement.
- Effectuer les réparations mineures et majeures de tous les bâtiments et équipements. Les réparations majeures sont effectuées sous la supervision d'agents d'entretien agréés.
- Effectuer des procédures d'entretien préventif sur les équipements mécaniques des bâtiments selon un calendrier établi.
- Nettoyer, inspecter, calibrer et réparer les systèmes mécaniques.
- Remplacer et réparer tous les éclairages de l'entrepôt et du bureau.
- Services de conciergerie tels que le nettoyage des toilettes et de la cuisine, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, le débouchage des éviers et des toilettes.
- remplir des listes de contrôle quotidiennes, hebdomadaires et mensuelles sur les procédures d'entretien des équipements du bâtiment
- Tenir à jour les registres des procédures d'entretien programmées.
- répondre aux demandes d'entretien d'urgence, le cas échéant
- Participe à la rénovation/au réaménagement du bâtiment ; répare, plâtre et cloisons sèches ; peint les structures du bâtiment.
- Effectuer des tâches de gardiennage à l'extérieur, telles que l'aménagement paysager et le déneigement, selon les besoins.
- Obtenir, le cas échéant, des devis pour des fournitures et des pièces de rechange ; commander des pièces si nécessaire.
- Entretien et réparation des chariots élévateurs à fourche
- Autres tâches et fonctions assignées de temps à autre par le vice-président des opérations.
**Compétences et qualités**:
- Un minimum de 2 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire
- Diplôme d'études secondaires
- Licence de chariot élévateur à fourche un atout
- Personne orientée vers le service à la clientèle
- Personne mature et responsable
- Exigences linguistiques : Bilingue (anglais et français)
