Waterjet Operator

We are looking for a Waterjet to join our team

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for quality control; produce product within specifications; reject product outside of specifications
- Operate within standard operating procedures SOPs and job safety analysis JSAs
- Operate forklift, overhead cranes, or mobile yard cranes (if qualified)
- Complete daily production timecard through MES-Epicor
- Perform daily preventive maintenance PMS on production machinery or tools
- Clean and maintain work area, including back lot
- Turn off equipment when not in use. In the event of equipment failure, lock out equipment
- Set up and run jobs for CNC water jet equipment
- Ensure all parts meet manufacturing requirements
- Perform cleaning and general maintenance on water jet
- Edit CAD files, print & verbal instructions
- Maintaining the organization of jobs & material inventory
- Perform general shipping & receiving duties
- Promote Almex Health & Safety Policies, Procedures and Guidelines

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years' experience working with waterjet machines
- Experience maximizing the utilization of materials and minimize waste of materials
- Proficient Computer skills
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
- Solid communication skills and a willingness to support other team members as required
- Ability to perform job with mínimal supervision
