**Job Summary**:
Is responsible for the assembly, portioning and serving of meals and snacks to the residents; cleaning of kitchen and dining room areas; ware washing, and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills and Abilities / Licensing / Registration:
Minimum grade ten education; mandatory Food Safe 1 certification, good command of the English language with the ability to give and receive oral and written instructions. Excellent personal health with the ability to contend with long periods of standing, walking, frequent stooping, bending, stretching and lifting. Ability to work in food service environment and function efficiently and accurately while working compatibly with others in a team atmosphere. A high standard of personal grooming and cleanliness compatible with the food service preparation environment. Demonstrated ability in meeting departmental goals through individual integrity and teamwork. Physical suitability.
