The Equipment Tracking Assistant will assist the Manager, Information and Learning Infrastructure, and Technical Equipment Analyst with day-to-day responsibilities including, but not limited to inventory, clerical, administrative, and technical support.

**Data and Tracking Support: 45%**
- Provides administrative support to the eServices Office including inventory, data entry, and tracking.
- Assists with collection and data entry related to all IT and AV equipment for LA&PS.
- Assists with updating and maintaining departmental IT, AV, and software inventory.
- Enters, tracks, and updates problem incidents and service requests within the ticketing system.

**Equipment Handling Support: 30%**
- Assists with the physical setup of end-user IT equipment.
- Assists with the disposal of assets/equipment for the department.
- Wipes hard drives of all data from equipment returned to eServices.
- Assists with repair and upgrades of a computer using small tools (i.e. screwdrivers).
- Picks up and delivers IT and AV equipment from various departments and locations across campus.

**Technical Support: 20%**
- Assists with computing inquiries, service calls, and tickets from the community.
- Assists with the support of PC and Apple hardware, software, peripherals, and operating systems.
- Assists with the setup and use of our computing services and user accounts.

**Other Duties: 5%**
- Performs other duties as required.

- Effective computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to deal courteously and effectively with people.
- Ability to work independently and to perform effectively in a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective organizational skills, including setting priorities and working effectively under pressure of high volume. - Proven accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong judgment and initiative skills.
- Knowledge of the Halo ticketing system is an asset
