**TAQQUT PRODUCTIONS INC.** is an Inuit-owned film production company located in Iqaluit, Nunavut and Toronto, Ontario. Our films have screened at festivals in eighteen countries and have won over twenty international awards. With its film and television projects, Taqqut has established itself as an innovative leader in Northern youth and children’s productions and aims to preserve the rich storytelling culture of Inuit and the North.

We are seeking a highly organized and self-directed **2D Rigger or a 2D Builds Artist**. This position reports to the line producer and the studio owners. You will be responsible for translating character and prop designs into Toon Boom Harmony Rigs and more. You will guarantee the quality of the deliverables to reach the objectives defined by the production. You will work closely with the Line Producer, Producers and Departments Supervisors.

Please note that we will only be contacting applicants who are residents of the province of Ontario or territory of Nunavut. This is an in-office position (either Iqaluit, Nunavut or Toronto, Ontario).

**The 2D Rigger will take on the following responsibilities**:

- Translating character and prop designs into ToonBoom Harmony rigs ready for production
- Rigger will also update old rigs and do research into improving the rigging pipeline.
- This is a largely self-directed role with oversight from the Animation Director and Production Coordinator.
- Rig testing.
- Helping other departments when needed.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- At least 2 years of experience in the industry.
- Using a variety of programs such as Harmony, Storyboard Pro, After Effects, and Premiere.
- Expert in Toon Boom Harmony.
- Google Suite.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- TORONTO, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
