**_ Role:_** Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this is a supply chain generalist role, where your main objectives are to ensure uninterrupted supply of material to support manufacturing while ensuring sufficient support of shipping/receiving and production control activities.

This role is required to be on-site.

**_ Experiencing using Epicor ERP system would be highly desirable for this role, but not essential._**

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsibilities will include processing purchase orders using MRP signals as well as manual Purchase Requisitions, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, and maintaining inventory.
- Support all freight, logistics, and distribution activity, including import / export compliance, and day-to-day efforts of shipping, receiving, and stock control activities, such as verification and put-away of delivered material and components.
- Administrative support of the NCR process (Non-Conformance Report), as well as follow-up on supplier RMA’s.
- Administration of Work Orders to and from Production, such as creating Work Orders and also facilitating closure and back-flushing requirements.
- Assist with cycle count audits and physical inventory, monitor inventory levels and adjust accordingly.
- Identify material shortages and communicate risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Supplier Management: Expedite & de-expedite suppliers as needed. Use data for supply planning and negotiations, as well as measuring supplier performance through metrics.
- Communicate expectations to suppliers and document terms & conditions accordingly within Purchase Order packages and enforce supplier compliance.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts.
- Manage the item master within the ERP system maintaining proper source, costs, lead times, reorder points and safety stocks.

**Qualifications & Competencies**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree preferably in supply chain, or related, e.g., business administration, materials & operations, finance.
- 1-2 years of collective experience in purchasing and shipping/receiving - Co-op and internship experience will be considered.
- Experience in material planning, inventory control, and production control would also be considered.
- Working knowledge and understanding of applicable software, e.g., an ERP system with MRP functionality, proficiency in Excel. **_Experience using Epicor ERP system is desirable, but not essential._**:

- Works effectively with and build relationships with all core groups and suppliers.
- Self-motivated and positive attitude.

- Works well under pressure and is very assertive with suppliers and internal customers.
