Flooring Installer

Duties:

- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area
- Install various types of flooring, such as carpet, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl
- Prepare the subfloor by removing old flooring, leveling the surface, and repairing any damage
- Lay out flooring according to blueprints or design specifications
- Adhere flooring materials using appropriate adhesives or fasteners
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials for a professional finish
- Clean up work area and remove any debris or waste materials

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the job
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting materials
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
