**Location**: CFB Esquimalt - Accommodations

**Position Status**: Union

**Reports to**:Barrack Concierge Supervisor

**Wage**: $23.22 per hour plus RRSP

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide superior customer service to clients
- Read and understand Maritime Pacific Single Quarter’s Regulations
- Act as building Fire Warden
- Complete check-in and check-out of clients
- Complete rounds of building
- Complete damage reports
- Submit work orders with Real Property Operations
- Maintain key control
- Maintain building safety equipment (first aid kits, eye wash stations, emergency showers, earthquake survival kits)
- Prepare linen exchanges
- Report to Base Accommodation Officer regarding needs for linen, furniture, supplies, etc.
- Use Microsoft Office suite of software including: MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Work, MS Access, MS PowerPoint
- Extensively use Base Accommodation software (MS Access and QuickQuarters)
- Use POS equipment to process debit/credit payments
- Liaise with outside agencies such as Preventative Medicine, Real Property Operations, DND Fire Services, and other units to ensure reservations needs are understood
- Execute emergency procedures (fire, active shooter, earthquake, building evacuations, etc.)

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and obtain a Level II (Secret) security clearance
- Ability to work in a range of weather conditions throughout shift
- Comfortable standing and sitting long periods of time
- Be an intermediate computer user
- Fluent in the English language - written, verbal and reading skills
- Have a positive attitude with a professional demeanour
- Have excellent attention to complete incident report writing
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Comfortable handling emergencies in a calm manner - training & support will be provided
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations
