**Job Summary**

While working 10 hour shifts, Monday to Thursday from 7 am - 5:30 pm this opportunity allows every weekend to be a long weekend

**Essential Job Responsibilities**
- Prepare and powder paint a variety of parts made from cast iron, steel, and aluminum.
- Load and unload parts onto conveyor line for coating.
- Put together racks and hooks to hang parts on the conveyor line.
- Take apart and sort racks and hooks for cleaning.
- Prepare packaging materials such as foam and cardboard.
- Use pallet jack to move materials and pallets around.
- Setup and adjust powder guns and racks according to setup sheets.
- Suggest work environment, equipment, process, and personnel improvements or issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working within a paint shop environment, powder paint is preferred.
- In the absence of the supervisor, take responsibility for the day to day operation of the paint department.
- Must be clean shaven, for the use of 1/2 mask respirators.
- Perform duties in a work environment where the temperature is not regulated (hot work environment).
- Physically fit, to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach for the entirety of work shift
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to perform manual & repetitive tasks.
- Perform duties, with frequent exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or air borne particles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and fix problems as they arise.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Strong communication skills oral and written, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe workplace.
- Reliable punctuality and attendance.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
