**Commercial Trader**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

This enables us to recycle more than one million tons of raw materials every year, making them available to our customers precisely and exactly as required by their respective specifications.

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Trader for our Canadian operation in Burlington, Ontario. This role reports to the Commercial Manager at our Burlington location.

***:

- Act as point of contact for designated suppliers including traveling to accounts as required.
- Support trading activities as backup point of contact where needed.
- Negotiate all necessary purchase contract terms such as volume, price, sizing, and delivery.
- Actively seek out and acquire new suppliers.
- Represent ELG at industry functions as needed.
- Entry of quote/purchase data into relevant CRM system.
- Complete all necessary paperwork relevant to commercial transactions.
- Negotiate and settle quality claims with suppliers.
- Review sales contracts as needed.
- Sign checks/wires as needed.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 1-3 years of industrial buying and scrap industry experience required.
- Great customer service with all levels within the organization.
- Contract negotiation experience preferred.
- Proficient level of computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.

**EDUCATION**:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

**COMPENSATION**: Compensation based on experience.

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
