We’re looking for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join our Irrigation team in the role of **Team Member, Cultivation (IPM)**

**As a Team Member, Cultivation (IPM), you will.**
- Act as delegate and lead IPM operations as needed
- Participate in scouting all grow rooms (Flower Rooms and Mother/Clone/Veg Room) for presence of pest or diseases
- Checking sticky cards and other traps throughout the facility
- Entering the relevant data onto the database
- Distribute biological control agents
- Communicate and escalate all issues with the crop and/or the production process to all the relevant parties as required
- Where applicable, must adhere to Aurora's SOPs and comply with Health Canada’s Cannabis Act. In addition, must adhere to all ISO requirements and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- Where applicable, promote and maintain GMP requirements
- Assist Supervisors and Coordinators in day-to-day functions
- Communicate with other departments to ensure timely and effective operations, including irrigation and facility maintenance
- Prepare and complete all documentation related to the production of Cannabis in accordance with the companies Policies and Procedures
- Recognize unsafe conditions and practices, and make corrections to prevent injuries and product loss
- Other duties as required

**You would be the best fit for this role if you have**
- Post-secondary education in a relatable field an asset
- Previous work experience with cannabis plants
- Able to obtain Growers Pesticide Safety Course
- Experience with integrated Pest Management (IPM) and recognizing pests/diseases
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to achieve objectives, as well as prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Skilled using various data gathering equipment and sensors
- standard computer skills in MS Office
- Excellent time management, leadership, decision making, and interpersonal skills

**Bonus points if you have**
- Physical effort is required - lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs.
- Temperatures range from 20 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and after hours as required
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms
- Comfortable working with step ladders (i.e. two step ladder/single sided step ladder)
