**Position Summary**:
The Swamper / Labourer will work in a team environment in all types of weather conditions. You must be physically fit and able to help move material and large objects. You must have good safety awareness, good communication & competent decision-making skills, and a desire to perform requested duties with a focus on safety and appropriate precautions. **Essential Functions, Major Duties, and/or Accountabilities**:

- Work well with others or independently
- Capable of working within a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working in all weather conditions
- Ability to follow direction, remain alert, and maintain a high level of concentration
- Have good judgement and the ability to react quickly
- Be able to perform Physical Labour on a daily basis

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a current valid driver’s license and able to provide a clean driver’s abstract
- Rigging/Swamping and equipment operating experience required
- Previous experience working with Skid Steer or Loader
- Related certificates and training are preferred: PST, Ground Disturbance, CSTS-09, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS, OSSA
- Must pass a pre-employment Drug/Alcohol screening

**Work Conditions**:

- Work for upwards of 24 days away from home
- Adaptable to changing shifts
- Ever changing locations throughout Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, & Manitoba

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nisku, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
