This key role leads the Funds Operations area of the Canada Life Investment Management business - driving planning, execution and operational oversight across all investment product lines, but with particular focus on the Canada Life Investment Management Ltd. legal entity (and related fund families).

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Build and maintain strong relationships in a complex multi-tiered environment with both corporate partners and outsourced service providers including fund administrator and custodian
- Provide process leadership and support to annual and project planning and budgeting, business line reporting, and technology road-mapping
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior wealth leadership and corporate partners across multiple areas of Canada Life
- Drive the development of investment policies, projects, and procedures to drive strategic and tactical improvements,
- Report ongoing oversight governance updates to senior stakeholders including executives and the CLIML Board and IRC
- Lead operations, client servicing, strategic fund initiatives and planning teams that drive a broad cross section of business-critical operational related activities.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- 10+ years of investment fund operations knowledge, to drive accuracy and minimize operational risk.
- People leadership experience ideally in specialized fund operations
- Ability to lead and make decisions in an environment with significant regulatory requirements
- Experience building and reporting on investment fund operation metrics/KPIs to enable data-driven decisions
- Experience leading and driving a variety of project initiatives ideally in an investment operations environment
- Experience providing and presenting reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership
- Collaborative and eager to lead and deliver in a complex and competitive investment operations environment

The base salary for this position is between **$120,300**:

- $200,400**annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
