**About the Role**

We are immediately hiring an experienced Scaffolding Foreman to lead site teams for projects in the Greater Vancouver area.

**Role Description**

You will have the opportunity to lead a small team which will build scaffolding structures for a wide range of projects. Day-to-day, you will have the responsibility of determining best practices in approaching different scaffolding jobs, and you will be relied on to complete work safely and according to project schedules.

**Responsibilities**
- Construct scaffolding structures on active construction sites
- Ensure all safety standards are met and deadlines are reached while operating within safety guidelines
- Lead crews in daily meetings, keep crews updated and on track with schedules
- Supervise daily work and provide training/guidance to team members as necessary
- Coordinate work with Superintendents and Project Management teams to ensure each step of the project is being completed as desired
- Review scope of work and project schedules and delivery on deadlines
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and trades to complete tasks as required by the schedule
- Demonstrate leadership and facilitate team work within the site crew
- Perform hands on tasks and lead a small team on the tools
- Ensure all environmental regulations are adhered to throughout the construction process
- Support development and training of crew members

**Skills and Requirements**
- Experience leading teams building scaffolding structures
- Experience building large scaffolding structures on a variety of projects
- Ability to communicate effectively between project management, site leadership, and subcontractors/trades
- Desire to see projects through to completion
- Strong understanding of construction and ability to be on the tools in a team lead capacity
- Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints, and communicate critical information to site teams
- Desire to continue developing as a construction leader
