What Lending Opportunity Awaits?

**Location & Travel**: The Home Financing Advisor is situated in Stratford and supports the various communities for our Stratford & Listowel locations. This position is eligible for flexible work arrangements including a combination of in-branch and remote work. Ability to be mobile within the region and flexibility in hours to support Owner preferences.

What You'll Do - The Epic Human We Are Looking For Will;
Exhibit proactive business development activities, establishing relationships with real estate agents, lawyers, Centres of Influence (COIs) and industry and community contacts to grow Libro’s presence in the Retail Mortgage market.

Proactively reach out to Owners and prospects responding to referrals, data insights and market intelligence, to grow personal mortgage lending portfolio.

Conduct holistic conversations, including the use of budgeting and in-house tools to better understand an Owner’s goals, needs & aspirations and refer opportunities for specialized advice as appropriate.

Develop collaborative relationships with internal teams and business segments to effectively service Owners.

Create a business plan, identifying activities and setting goals to support regional mortgage lending growth.

Participate in promotions and location campaigns to build Libro’s brand and grow business.

Have 3-5 years of industry related experience and a deep understanding of the local markets. Work experience of 4-6 years preferably in an advice and sales environment.

Exhibit expert knowledge in mortgage (retail) lending and applicable regulatory requirements, including:
Construction financing, rental property lending, retail for self employed

Analysis of financial information and opportunity identification.

Understanding of real estate market/property values, sales trends as well as competitive environment

Show flexibility in hours and place of work to best support Owner preferences.
