**Job Description: Full-time Team Lead (Behavioural Support Worker)**

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Supervise and provide guidance to a team of behavioural support workers.

2. Develop and implement behavior management plans in collaboration with the team.

3. Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and support to ensure the team's effectiveness.

4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing constructive feedback and addressing any performance issues.

5. Collaborate with other departments and professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.

6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, incidents, and interventions.

7. Act as a liaison between the team and other stakeholders, including clients, families, and external agencies.

8. Assist with the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process of new team members.

9. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and relevant legislation related to behavioural support services.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
1. Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (preferred).

2. Minimum of two years of experience working with children and youth with challenging behaviours.

3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, and team members.

5. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.

6. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

7. Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with vehicle insurance.

8. Clean driving record (valid driver's abstract required).

9. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the team and clients.

10. Ability to provide a criminal and Vulnerable Check conducted within the last 6 months.

**Requirements**:
