This position involves all aspects of the duties/responsibilities associated with Customs Clearance/Customs Brokerage (e.g. completion of customs clearance documentation, processing of import documentation, regular liaison with Customs personnel, internal staff and clients). Release Clerk assists in ensuring that all entries are released, classified and billed accurately within Canusa Logistics' service standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer phone calls and assist customers
- Prepare forms, labels, billing invoices and related documents to ensure timely processing
- Receive and review documents for accuracy
- Filing and general office housekeeping
- Prepare and process import/export documents and other forms on behalf of clients according to customs regulations, laws, and procedures
- Quote duty and tax rates on commodities for clients
- Provide advice to clients on export and import restrictions, tariff systems, letters of credit, insurance requirements and other custom related matters
- Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.

- Professional telephone and interpersonal demeanor for dealing with customers and vendors

**No Experience Required - Training is provided on site**

Wage will be discussed based on experience

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour
