**_Job Description_**

As a Parts Assistant, you will support the Operations department in the inventory process through a range of various duties that include computer tasks such as data input and changes and labour work such as putting away inventory and organizing the workspace.

**_ What will you do?_**
- Ship all outgoing products.
- Ships all outgoing product in a timely manner.
- Maintain and organize shipping supplies.
- Ensuring that products processed for shipping are delegated to correct courier.
- Assist in the kitting process as required.
- Pull any windows, cabinets and offshore upholstery packages as required for the Assembly department.
- Unload trucks and answer receiving door.
- Parts room organization and general housekeeping.
- Perform all parts counter activities according to daily schedule.
- Put daily stock away.
- Identify overstock that may be required for kitting and restock shelf.
- Process kit returns and put parts back on the shelves.
- Recycle carts back in to kitting area.
- Cycle counts as required.
- Assist with all other parts room duties as required.
- Follow all applicable KingFisher Boats and WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety regulations.

**_ What do you need to succeed?_**
- On the job training is provided.
- Shipping/receiving experience is an asset.
- Ability to organize workspace for efficiency and removing hazards.
- Ability to complete tasks of a physically demanding nature.
- Ability to complete data entry tasks and navigate ERP software.
- High attention to detail is required.
- Forklift experience/certification is an asset.

**Wage range: $21.50 (minimum) - $24.50 (midpoint) - $27.50 (maximum).**

**_ Working Conditions_**
- Regular periods during which there is continuous physical effort is required, e.g., walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
- Exposure to factors such as temperature variations, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, toxic materials which may cause periods of discomfort, high noise levels.
- Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed.
- Noticeable pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands exists.

**_ Schedule_**
- Afternoon Shift - Monday to Thursday - 11:30 am to 10:00 pm.
