**We are looking for a Wood Worker**

**Afternoon shift: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am (Mon-Fri) Salary: $25.50/hour(+$2 premium)**
- Experience preferred but not required._

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate production line machinery and computers
- Perform pre-shift tool and equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot production line machinery
- Perform equipment change-overs
- Responsible for quality control. Make necessary adjustments to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications (check with supervisors)
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety analysis (JSAs)
- Operate forklift, overhead cranes, or mobile yard cranes (if qualified)
- Utilize the company ERP system for production tracking
- Perform daily preventive maintenance (PMS) on production line machinery or tools
- Communicate with operators from other shifts
- Clean and maintain work area daily (woodshop and shipping area)
- Turn off equipment when not in use
- Lock out equipment in the event of equipment failure
- Work shifts work as required
- Must meet other qualifications and checklists as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $27.50 per hour

- Parry Sound, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- carpentry/ Wood Working: 1 year (preferred)

- English (required)
