*Job Summary*

*Responsibilities*
- Transport Children: Safely drive a daycare van to transport children to and from schools and daycare facilities according to the established schedule.
- Safety First: Ensure the safety of all passengers by adhering to traffic laws, using appropriate child safety restraints, and performing regular vehicle inspections.
- Child Supervision: Supervise children while they are in the van, ensuring they are secure and behaving appropriately.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and daycare staff regarding pick-up and drop-off times, changes in schedules, or any concerns related to the children.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Report any maintenance issues or needed repairs to the appropriate personnel.
- Emergency Procedures: Be prepared to handle emergencies, including medical issues, accidents, or vehicle breakdowns, in a calm and effective manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transportation routes, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents or irregularities during transit.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow all daycare and transportation policies and procedures, including those related to safety, hygiene, and child behavior management.

*Experience*
- Need a class 4 drivers' license
- Up to a year of experience is prefer but not necessary

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
