**Position Summary**

As a Security Systems Technician in our Information Services department, you will support and maintain a complex, enterprise level multi-site network of CCTV and Access Control systems that ensure the security of products and systems that are of critical importance to CBN customers around the world.

**What You Will Do**
- Assist in the coordination, implementation and execution of new security system installations;
- Program, configure and manage security systems within an enterprise level security architecture using the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework;
- Troubleshoot and resolve security system software and hardware related issues;
- Ensure security systems are maintained in accordance with industry standards and perform regular preventative maintenance activities while maintaining an inventory of spare parts;
- Maintain up-to-date system-wide documentation;
- Provide recommendations that will enhance security system(s) performance and present them to various internal stakeholders; and
- Various other duties and responsibilities.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge and Experience_
- Security Systems Technician (or similar) college certificate or diploma
- Experience in the installation and support of enterprise grade access control systems such as Lenel OnGuard (or equivalent)
- Experience in the installation and support of enterprise grade CCTV video surveillance systems such as Genetec Security Center (or equivalent)
- Experience configuring and supporting integrated security systems implemented on the Microsoft Windows Server platform
- Basic knowledge of networking, network cabling specs and network switch gear
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and practices
- Skills_ and Abilities_
- Proficient in MS 365
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven troubleshooting/problem solving skills
- Self-directed
- Expert organizational skills

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.
- Participation in after-hours on-call rotation.
- Valid driver’s license.
