**Overview of Job Scope**: Assist drivers, and work with a team of movers and packers to load/unload, pack/unpack household or office goods during all phases of the move.

**Key Duties**:

- Assist with the loading and unloading of household goods shipments, at residences and warehouse
- Competently performs assigned pack/unpack and load/unload duties with supervision
- Assist with loading/unloading of appliances and fine furniture for commercial deliveries
- Assist with packing/unpacking of breakable items
- Is compliant with Walker’s/Capital Group Policies & Procedures and Van Line policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist with truck/trailer upkeep including folding of moving blankets, breaking down of packing material, washing vehicle and equipment as required

**Qualifications**:

- Household goods moving/storage/packing experience an asset
- Physical fitness—able to work long hours at physically demanding tasks
- Bilingualism an asset

Aperçu de l'étendue du poste : Aider les chauffeurs et travailler avec une équipe de déménageurs et d'emballeurs pour charger/décharger, emballer/déballer les articles ménagers ou de bureau pendant toutes les phases du déménagement.

Tâches clés:

- Aider au chargement et au déchargement des expéditions d'articles ménagers, aux résidences et à l'entrepôt
- Exécuter avec compétence les tâches assignées d'emballage/déballage et de chargement/déchargement sous supervision.
- Aider au chargement/déchargement des appareils électroménagers et des meubles raffinés pour les livraisons commerciales
- Aider à l'emballage/déballage des objets cassables
- Est conforme aux politiques et procédures de Walker/Capital Group et aux politiques de Van Line.
- Maintenir une zone de travail propre et sécuritaire.
- Participer à l'entretien du camion/remorque, y compris le pliage des couvertures de déménagement, le démontage du matériel d'emballage, le lavage du véhicule et de l'équipement, au besoin.

Qualifications:

- Expérience en déménagement/entreposage/emballage d'articles ménagers, un atout
- Forme physique : capable de travailler de longues heures à des tâches physiquement exigeantes
- Le bilinguisme est un atout
