**JOB SUMMARY**:
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about data and using data to make evidence-based business decisions. This person has strong change management abilities and seeks to use these in conjunction with their analytical skills to develop reports to influence change. They should have a very high level of understanding with regards to excel, managing projects and data relationships. This person will report to the Production Planning Manager.

**JOB TASKS**:

- Plans and coordinates production orders.
- Plans and coordinates cost center utilization for maximum productivity.
- Identifies and recommends continuous improvement opportunities.
- Communicates with internal departments for all planning activities.
- Creates materials in SAP.
- Maintains accurate master data in SAP.
- Runs reports as required to ensure master data accuracy, capacity accuracy, inventory status, and all other reports as required by the organization.
- Abides by all Emmerson Packaging’s Management System policies, follows procedures, work instructions and other requirements including adherence to EH&S Act regulations.
- Performs other duties as required by the Manager/Supervisor.

**COMPETENCIES**:

- Must be an expert in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project software programs.
- Must have knowledge of data relationships and database management.
- Must understand lean manufacturing and process planning.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills; able to multi-task effectively.
- Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, detail oriented.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be adept at identifying needs or areas of improvement and able to independently create and implement solutions to address these challenges.

**REQUIRMENTS**:

- Business degree or management diploma
- Two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- 6-12 months of project management experience

**PREFERRED**:

- Knowledge of flexographic production equipment
- Lean six sigma certifications.
- SQL and Tableau (or similar program) programing experience
