**PARTY ANIMATOR**

**Objective**: Reporting to the coordinator and director, Club d’enfant Jeu t’aime is seeking an energetic, animated and responsible party animator to plan games and activities in order to entertain children at their birthday parties, all while maintaining their safety.

**Job Type**:Part-time (mainly weekends, occasional nights)

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement games and activities for the children and group, according to theme, age and interests.
- Interacts with the children at all times, taking part in all activities where the children are involved.
- Identify and respond to participants behaviours and needs.
- Open and close the party room depending on times and needs.
- Responsible for the supplies, equipment and material. Identify to management what’s needed and treat the supplies and equipment with care.
- Know, understand and implement (if necessary) all emergency procedures associated with the room and the participants.
- Work as a team with co-party animators and organizers to deliver a quality program
- Ensure that the area is clean, tidy and organized.
- Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all participants.
- Establish a relationship with the clients
- help parents with needs, engage children in activities.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
