- Plan and schedule drivers, truckloads, and routes.
- Handling cross-board dispatch and highway dispatch
- Update Operations Manager with drivers and trips.
- Accept load tenders, book delivery appointments and schedule pick up date and time.
- Effective utilization of Company's equipment and resources.
- Negotiate rates with customers to achieve a profitable margin.
- Handle customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Great communications skills
- Multi-Task is a MUST in our work environment.
- Good organizational skills;
**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Relevant experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Must possess basic computer skills (Outlook, dispatch software, excel, Adobe PDF)
- Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of DOT and MTO rules and regulations.
- Positive attitude with good people skills
- Strong problem-solving ability;
- Ability to work independently;
- Effective communication skills;
- Ability to perform daily job functions in mature and professional manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year
