Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
**Duties**:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information about our food and beverage offerings
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS/Cash register system and ensure accuracy
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and efficiently
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Upsell additional items or specials to enhance the guest experience
- Process guest payments accurately using cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
**Skills**:
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong math skills for accurately processing payments and making change
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of cashiering procedures and handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with kitchen operations for effective communication with kitchen staff
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in food service techniques, including proper food handling and preparation
- Understanding of the food industry regulations and safety standards
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Upselling skills to promote additional menu items or specials
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $15.60-$16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
