Journeyman/woman Plumber

Ipec Homes is a local home builder that has operated in the Camrose area for over 20 years. We are looking to add a motivated individual to our team as a journeyman plumber. This individual must be self motivated, able to work on their own ands with others, and work efficiently to be on time and on budget with assigned projects.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential buildings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Duties**:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Collaborate with team members to complete plumbing projects on time and within budget
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, bend, assemble, and install pipes
- Weld or solder pipes and fittings as needed
- Perform inspections to identify plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective resolutions
- Conduct regular maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with building codes and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Valid Journeyperson Plumber license
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role
- Proficient in HVAC systems installation and repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques, materials, and tools
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints for plumbing systems
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in plumbing work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and estimating materials needed
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements
