**Role**

**Responsibilities**:
**Performance**
- Support teams in prepositioning projects and collaborate in business development.
- Prepare and revise responses to requests for proposals, project scope documents, budgets, and progress reports.
- Lead single and multidisciplinary teams in successfully completing technically sound projects while meeting or exceeding the client and GHD’s needs.
- Plan, manage, and monitor mandate scopes, schedules, and budgets within multidisciplinary projects to ensure that clients receive top-quality results.
- Stimulate financial profitability, namely by monitoring and managing business affairs, use of personnel, delays in client payments, variances, and price increases.
- Manage, mitigate, and identify risks throughout mandate acquisition and project execution.
- Promote and participate in project development and innovative project execution methods.

**Client**
- Provide exemplary coordination and communication with clients to ensure satisfactory project outcomes.
- Actively participate in business development opportunities with current and potential clients.
- Actively participate in professional and/or industrial organizations to promote the GHD brand.

**People**
- Collaborate with global, North American, and regional market leaders, client relationship managers, discipline leads, client sector leaders, and Business Group leaders in achieving excellent commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrate and foster project execution skills by working with project directors and coordinators as well as single and multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate with the regional Project Management Office.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Required education: diploma in engineering
- Required experience: at least 10 years in engineering consulting with a minimum of 5 years in project management
- Required certifications and titles: professional engineer (member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec)
- Required technical skills: excellent knowledge of and experience in project execution
- Bilingualism: excellent written and verbal communication skills in English* and French
- Other skills: proven abilities in developing, mentoring, and leading professional technical personnel.
