Cleaner

Pillar5 Pharma Inc., an industry leading Canadian CDMO specializing in off-the-shelf sterile pharmaceuticals for the North American market, has an opening for a Cleaner. Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance, the Cleaner’s role is to carry out janitorial tasks according to a written sanitation program to maintain GMP compliance within the plant and to perform other duties as required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Carry out tasks associated with the Sanitation Program according to the site’s Sanitation Manual
- Clean the general plant with the main point of focus being the lunchroom, washrooms, change rooms, conference/training rooms and the various offices.
- Main tasks will be - sweep/vacuum/mop/dusting/making coffee & tea/dishes.. etc.
- Waste removal - garbage, recycling in your area of responsibility.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning/lunchroom supplies and order as needed.
- Cleaning/Sanitize/Dusting identified areas on the production floor.
- Prepare the conference room for meetings.
- Travel to our 4th avenue site to perform similar duties as needed.
- Other duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma
- Previous janitorial experience is an asset
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines
- Ability to follow written procedures
- Good organizational skills
- First Aid certification is an asset.
- Punctual and reliability a must.

**SCHEDULE**:

- Monday - Thursday: 6:15 am - 3:30 pm (can be adjusted)
- Friday: 6:15 am - 12:30 pm
