In Africa, our primary focus is Telecom, and we sell direct as well as through partners. Our customers include telecom operators, installers/integrators, service providers, government agencies, municipalities, and private companies.

We are seeking a talented and motivated junior to middle-level logistics manager to join our production engineering team. If you have a passion for streamlining supply chain operations and managing international shipments, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our success.

As a member of the Clear Blue Production Engineering team, you will manage the shipping and logistics of our product from multiple international locations to customers throughout Africa, the Middle East, North and South America. You shall be able to learn, work quickly, and communicate effectivity both within the team and with our customers. As a junior to middle-level Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring efficient inbound and outbound shipments between Canada, USA, China, Middle East, and Africa. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate across various teams will be critical to maintaining the seamless flow of goods while minimizing costs and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement logistics strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Coordinate and manage transportation, customs clearance, and documentation for inbound and outbound shipments across multiple international regions.
- Responsible for getting shipments quotes for international and nation transports (inbound and outbound).
- Monitor shipment schedules, track shipments, and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding shipment status and potential delays.
- Analyze transportation and logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with warehouse, delivery and customer service team to ensure all orders are shipped on time and in full
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and import/export laws for all shipments.
- Resolve any shipping-related issues, such as customs clearance delays, damages, or discrepancies, in a proactive and timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to shipments, costs, and logistics activities.
- Assist in negotiating transportation rates and contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance
- Responsible for all stages of the logistics process, from requesting/packing the material to safe delivery to the customer

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field or
- Post-secondary education or related certificate program with 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management, preferably within a manufacturing or global trade environment

**Skills**
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholder. Verbal and written in English, any additional language as well is a preferences
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Applications
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary
- Creative problem solver with experience in costing/process analysis
